A mission-driven GenAI start-up is hiring a Senior Product Designer to design, prototype, and refine LLM-driven conversational experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and refine LLM-driven conversational experiences across multiple user contexts
- Create natural, empathetic, and accessible interaction flows for both voice and text
- Partner with engineers and product managers on prompt design, interaction quality, and usability
- Incorporate user research insights and feedback into design iterations
- Define best practices and design guidelines for conversational AI interfaces
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design, UX, or conversational design, ideally with AI/LLM products
- Portfolio showcasing voice or text-based conversational flows
- Strong understanding of conversational design principles (cooperative principles, turn-taking, cognitive load, etc.)
- Familiarity with speech and language technologies (ASR, NLU, TTS) is a plus
- Ability to balance creativity, empathy, and safety in design
