Senior UX Researcher

As a Senior Researcher at SoFi, you will lead research initiatives to inform product strategy and design, driving user-centered decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead research initiatives that inform product strategy and design
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Plan, design, execute, and analyze a wide range of user research studies
• Synthesize research findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights
• Lead and contribute to multiple workstreams within and across business areas
• Deliver complex projects impacting the business unit
• Conduct rapid, iterative design-focused research
• Leverage a strong understanding of user and business needs
• Create artifacts that influence outcomes
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
• Contribute to the growth and development of research best practices and methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field (Graduate Degree preferred)
• Five (5)+ years of experience conducting user research in a product development setting
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Basic quantitative skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated understanding of the tradeoff between rigor and speed in research
• Strong project management skills
• A drive for learning and self-improvement
