The Senior UX Researcher will design and lead research studies to uncover insights that shape product strategies and user journeys. They will partner closely with design, product, and engineering teams to ensure solutions reflect real human needs.
Responsibilities
- Independently plan, lead, and execute high-impact UX research studies across digital products and platforms, from scoping to delivery.
- Apply both qualitative and quantitative methods with rigor, choosing the right approach for complex problems.
- Translate research insights into clear, actionable product and design recommendations.
- Partner closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to shape roadmaps and strategies.
- Present findings to cross-functional teams and senior leaders, influencing decisions and priorities.
- Contribute to research standards, best practices, team knowledge-sharing, and team culture by fostering curiosity and collaboration.
- Mentor fellow researchers, helping grow the craft within the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on user research experience in digital product environments at a design-driven brand, tech company, or agency.
- Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects independently in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated ability to connect insights to business impact and influence design and product strategies.
- A proactive commitment to continuously advancing skills, practices, and approaches.
- Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field.
- A portfolio or case studies that showcase impact across consumer-facing digital products.
- Background in retail, eCommerce, loyalty programs, or mobile ordering research.
- Experience conducting research across full end-to-end journeys, multi-channel ecosystems, and experiences that span native mobile OS.
