Brooklinen is hiring a Senior eCommerce Product Designer to lead design initiatives, conduct research, and create scalable systems for their eCommerce platform.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design initiatives across key areas of the site, from research to iteration
- Lead generative research to uncover insights that shape product direction
- Translate data and research into clear, actionable design recommendations tied to business goals
- Design and evolve scalable systems, ensuring components and patterns work across multiple teams and use cases
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that are inspiring, practical, and performance-driven
- Support experimentation by designing for A/B and multivariate tests, defining success metrics, and iterating on results
- Communicate your work clearlyâthrough storytelling, rationale, and documentationâto bring partners along in the process
- Mentor and support junior designers, fostering growth in process, craft, and strategic thinking, and contributing to the overall growth of the team
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5â8+ years of product design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end ownership
- Expertise in UX, UI, and interaction design, including information architecture and visual systems
- Experience leading generative research and using insights to influence roadmaps and product strategy
- Proficiency in Figma, FigJam, and prototyping tools (e.g., Framer)
- A mobile-first sensibility with attention to performance, accessibility (WCAG 2.1+), and usability at scale
- Experience designing in eCommerce, with a track record of influencing measurable outcomes (CVR, AOV, retention, repeat purchase)
- Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and move complex projects forward
- Strong communication skillsâyou can explain design decisions clearly and build alignment across stakeholders
