Junior UI/UX Designer (Temp-to-Hire)

Create engaging visual designs for web and mobile applications and transform wireframes into polished designs. Collaborate with UX designers and developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and maintain brand consistency.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging visual designs for web and mobile applications, including UI components, forms, and full pages
- Transform wireframes and concepts into polished visual designs
- Build and customize websites using Webflow and WordPress
- Collaborate with UX designers, front-end developers, and project managers
- Ensure designs are technically feasible
- Create and maintain design documentation and specifications for development handoff
- Implement responsive designs across multiple platforms and devices
- Help maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer
- Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills for digital products
- Proficiency in Figma
- Experience building and customizing websites with Webflow and WordPress
- Working knowledge of WordPress themes and customization
- Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, responsive design)
- Experience with or willingness to learn AI-assisted design tools like Cursor
- Familiarity with AI integration in design workflows
- Knowledge of atomic/component design and token design systems
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication of design decisions
- Mobile and web design experience
- Empathy, self-motivation, collaborative mindset, critical thinking skills
