The Senior Product Designer will lead design activities, communicate product vision, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional product delivery. Responsibilities include user research, design iteration, and advocating for user-centered design principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead design activities and communicate a clear product vision and strategy, by collaborating with the Product Managers, Business Analysts, Data Scientist & Developers
- Creating and maintaining design libraries and documentation
- Test and iterate on designs to improve the user experience
- Present and advocate for design decisions to stakeholders and users
- Gather and evaluate user requirements, by facilitating workshops sessions
- Participating in cross-functional initiatives, such as product strategy and marketing
- Ensure that designs meet business goals and technical constraints
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
- Developing and implementing design processes and workflows
- Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and technologies
- Considering the ethical implications of design decisions, and designing products and services that are responsible and beneficial to society
- Lead user research activities such as: user interviews, focus groups, surveys and usability testing
- Conducting user research to understand user needs and pain points, and using this information to inform design decisions
- Developing and maintaining user personas
- Creating and using user journey maps
- Conducting competitive analysis
- Advocating for user-centred design
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Designer, with a track record of successfully bringing products to life in a dynamic environment and mentoring junior designers
- Product experience with B2B products and relationships
- Strong understanding of product design methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis
- Project design skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Expertise in agile development methodologies
- An inclination towards action and clarity
