Hybrid Full-time Senior

As a (Senior) UX Designer, you will create digital services that enhance customer experience and improve customer journeys. You will work closely with Product Owners, Customer Journey Experts, and Tech teams to ensure consistency and uniformity in UX designs.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to BMG becoming the bank which provides top notch services for our clients via a broad range of digital channels
  • Improve customer journeys in close alignment with the Customer Journey Expert (CJE) by creating interaction designs that add value for our clients
  • Work according to the BMG way of working as part of the UX team
  • Work with different Product Areas, multidisciplinary squads and stakeholders in a tech-driven environment where you are responsible for the consistency and uniformity of our UX designs
  • Ensure excellent customer experience at digital touch points by contributing to the design library and creating easy, usable solutions for our customers’ problems
  • Take the lead in bringing BMG to the next UX maturity level
  • Maintain a helicopter-view of what is needed to deliver the best designs, organize and prioritize UX work and liaise with stakeholders

Requirements

  • You have a bachelor/Master degree with a minimum of 5 year work experience in UX
  • You are T-shaped UX designer that specializes in interaction design and has good visual design skills
  • You have extensive experience working with Figma
  • You have an impressive portfolio that demonstrates your (data driven) way of working, preferably with financial industry cases
  • You are a naturally collaborative person with great communication skills
  • You love to challenge the status quo but are pragmatic in finding solutions to complex problems
  • You proactively advise internal stakeholders on the right approach to achieving their goals
  • You independently take on tasks that contribute to the mission of BMG
  • Good organizational sensitivity; ability to understand and take into account the underlying issues, opportunities and dynamics of an international organization
  • English, written and verbal is not a problem for you
  • Current residency in the Netherlands
  • Understanding the Dutch language is preferable, as the majority of the team often communicates in Dutch and you easily join conversation
