Responsibilities
- Craft clear, conversational, and on-brand copy for our app and web portal—from microcopy and error messages to onboarding flows and tooltips.
- Translate complex functionality into simple language that guides, delights, and empowers users to take action with confidence.
- Partner with product designers and managers to develop content that supports design and enhances the overall user experience.
- Edit and proofread across digital touchpoints to ensure clarity, consistency, and accessibility.
- Validate your work using data, user insights, and A/B testing to continuously improve content effectiveness.
- Champion a cohesive voice and tone by applying our clients’ brand guidelines across all products and touchpoints.
- Bring a user-first mindset to every project, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align content strategy with business and user goals.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in UX writing, content strategy, or a related role—ideally in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- A portfolio that showcases your UX writing across digital interfaces, demonstrating your ability to simplify complex interactions and guide users through thoughtful content.
- Hands-on experience with Figma and an understanding of how content fits into design systems and product workflows.
- A deep understanding of user-centered design, accessibility best practices, and inclusive writing principles.
- Strong instincts for storytelling, tone, and clarity—you're just as comfortable writing an error message as you are shaping an entire feature flow.
- A knack for identifying content patterns and building scalable solutions while leaving room for creativity and innovation.
- Proven experience using qualitative and quantitative research to inform and test content decisions.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and build consensus across teams.
- Self-motivated, detail-obsessed, organized, and flexible—able to juggle multiple priorities and adapt as things evolve.
