Sr Staff / Staff Product Designer

Seeking a Sr Staff / Staff Product Designer to join the Product Design team at project44, focusing on shaping intuitive and scalable user experiences across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead design initiatives from discovery to delivery across multiple product surfaces.
• Translate complex systems into intuitive, elegant experiences for a diverse set of users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals, define problems, and co-create solutions.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.
• Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Advocate for design excellence and user-centric thinking across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product thinking, systems design, and polished UI work.
• High bar for visual and interaction design, seen as a benchmark by peers.
• Comfortable designing for complex, interconnected systems and understanding how to scale design across products.
• Thrive in cross-functional teams and skilled at building alignment across disciplines.
• Ground work in research and data, passionate about solving real user problems.
• Proactive, self-directed, and excited to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience designing AI-powered features or workflows, understanding how to make machine learning and automation feel intuitive, transparent, and valuable to users.
• In-office commitment: 5 days a week.
