UX Researcher, YouTube Studio Content

The UX Researcher will plan, design, execute, analyze, and report on qualitative and quantitative studies. They will communicate research insights to the team and stakeholders, influencing evidence-based decision making.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, execute, analyze, and report on qualitative and quantitative studies (e.g. qualitative interviews, usability testing, diary studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.)
• Understand user expectations and mental models around content creation, with and without AI assistance
• Measure and track user sentiment towards critical creator experiences, including AI-generated answers and interactions
• Be a reliable, trusted partner for product managers, engineering, UX and research managers to define and run research in a changing environment
• Communicate research insights to the team and stakeholders in an effective and compelling way, influencing evidence-based decision making

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 4 years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar
• Experience with research design utilizing various methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.)
• Experience researching AI products
• Experience with natural language processing concepts and their application in user experience
• Experience defining and measuring critical user journeys and sentiments
