The Senior Product Designer will bring strategic product thinking into design work and collaborate with various teams to create engaging user experiences. This role involves simplifying complex problems and delivering polished design specifications to the development team.
Responsibilities
- Bring strategic product thinking based on user needs and business goals into your design work
- Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to simplify complex problems into fun and easy-to-use experiences
- Explore multiple design solutions through wireframes and prototypes that work across app & web
- Craft designs that work within and continue to expand and refine our design system
- Deliver clear and polished final design specs to our development team
- Play an integral part in growing the design team at Navi
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in Product Design
- Experience in designing features for iOS, Android, and the web
- Experience in building, maintaining, and loving a component-based design system
- Deep understanding of UX research practices and how to bring user insights into design solutions
- Strong balance of both visual and user experience design skills
- Excellent personal organizational, communication, and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent leadership skills plus a capacity for continual learning and a strong desire to grow a team and others around you
