The Product Designer will identify and understand customer needs, leading discovery activities to inform the team's work. They will collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver impactful solutions across web and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
- Identify and understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points
- Lead and support discovery activities (user interviews, surveys, usability tests)
- Work in a fast-paced team to deliver impactful solutions across web and mobile platforms
- Consider business needs, technical constraints, data, and platform requirements
- Creatively translate opportunities into elegant, intuitive, and effective experiences
- Rapidly and pragmatically produce concepts and prototypes
- Run experiments to validate assumptions and optimize solutions
Requirements
- 3-5 years of product design experience within a consumer-focused organization
- Proven record of successfully shipped mobile and web experiences
- Deep understanding of customer needs, business objectives, and market trends
- Excellent visual design skills and proficiency in design, prototyping, and whiteboarding tools (Figma, Framer, Miro)
- Comfortable planning and conducting research (interviews, usability tests, surveys)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
- Online portfolio or PDF showcasing design thinking process and impact of work
