Junior UX Designer (m/w/d) – Remote

As a Junior UX Designer, you will design features that empower doctors with intuitive tools for telemedicine. You will create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes while driving user-centric innovation through research and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design with purpose: Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes for new features and UI improvements
• Drive user-centric innovation: Support qualitative and quantitative UX research — from usability tests to surveys and interviews
• Translate insights into action: Analyse feedback and usage data to craft solutions grounded in real user needs
• Bridge design & development: Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure clean hand-offs and solid implementation
• Strengthen our design language: Use and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability

Requirements

• Degree in UX Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Media Informatics, or similar
• 1–2 years of practical experience (internships, working student roles, or entry-level)
• A strong UX/UI portfolio showing your process and impact (research, prototypes, A/B testing)
• Proficiency with Figma, FigJam, or similar tools
• Strong aesthetic sense and a deep understanding of user-centred design
• Excellent communication skills — able to adapt your message across different audiences, from developers to doctors
• Confident presentation skills — able to clearly explain your design decisions and thought process
• Ability to convince and influence — backed by data, empathy, and design rationale
• Genuine passion for improving healthcare and making a positive impact through design
• Fluency in German and proficiency in English
• Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
• Basic skills in HTML/CSS (nice-to-have)
• Experience in the healthcare or telemedicine space (nice-to-have)
