We are seeking a Product Designer to join our Experience Design team at Capital One, focusing on creating memorable product experiences and driving business innovation.
Responsibilities
- Combine craft expertise and leadership skills with an understanding of customers and the business to co-create innovative solutions
- Lead design projects, directing and delegating work for more junior team members
- Build strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders and mentor the overall product design practice
- Effectively navigate the needs of partners and stakeholders, leveraging critical-thinking skills
- Demonstrate proficiency with products and processes and apply relevant insights to business challenges
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of tech, data capabilities and emerging technologies
- Leverage a rich network of partnerships to foster collaboration and share solutions
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a Product Design role
- At least 5 years of experience in design and prototyping tools such as Figma
- Preferred: At least 6 years of experience in a Product Design role
- Preferred: At least 6 years of experience in design and prototyping tools such as Figma
- Preferred: Experience working with and contributing to an established design system
- Preferred: Experience collaborating with product, tech and business partners
- Preferred: Experience leading design projects or teams
- Preferred: Experience working in heavily regulated, data heavy problem spaces
