The Senior Product Designer will take ownership of complex design challenges and lead the design and delivery of consumer-focused trading apps. They will collaborate closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers to craft exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Raise the bar for the industry by creating visually rich, forward-thinking designs
- Shape and evolve Kraken’s visual language
- Craft exceptional user experiences by collaborating closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers
- Influence stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of design quality and user experience
- Own your work fully, taking accountability for design quality, outcomes, and measurable results
- Stay ahead of emerging trends using customer insights
- Contribute actively to design reviews, seeking and offering constructive feedback
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience delivering end-to-end product design
- Strong UX and visual design skills
- Advanced knowledge of prototyping tools and techniques
- Comfortable taking ownership of high impact features or projects
- Open-minded and collaborative
- Data-informed approach to design decisions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong familiarity with human-centered design principles and research methods
- Ability to present and defend design decisions confidently
- Experience in designing trading products (a plus)
- Knowledge of Bitcoin, cryptocurrency (a plus)
