Lead projects and product design teams while ensuring design quality. Mentor and coach other designers to enhance their skills and foster a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in leading a team of designers to carry out end-to-end design process and experience management
- Shape the team's roadmap and goals by providing input from a user's perspective
- Demonstrate speed and efficiency in translating ideas into prototypes using modern AI tools
- Regularly reference product goals and speak confidently about how their work relates to the broader product vision
- Identify opportunities for new product features and improvement by analysing data
- Drive user centric design solutions and processes
- Proactively solicit and provide feedback from designers and product team
- Maximise the potential of team members by coaching and mentoring the product design team
- Empower and mentor designers in the team, fostering a collaborative, productive, and positive environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in UX/Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Design, or similar
- Excellent technical skills in visual design and prototyping software (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Knowledge of human-centered design and end-to-end design process
- Familiarity with design systems and branding guidelines
- Ability to build and prioritize detailed design artifacts
- Figma proficient
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Product Design
- Online portfolio of professional work
- Keen eye for design, details and aesthetics
- Passionate in identifying new design trends, technologies and best practices
- Team spirit; strong communication skills
