The Junior Graphic Designer will support the Design and Creative team by implementing design direction and ensuring high standards in all outputs. Responsibilities include assisting with campaign materials, marketing collateral, and providing design insights.
Responsibilities
- Assists mid-to-senior Designers by implementing design direction and applying best practices to support overall strategies.
- Art working campaign materials for client work.
- Rolling out marketing collateral for Ear to the Ground communications.
- Providing design inspiration and insights to the agency.
- Supporting the Design lead with administrative support within the department.
- Provide support on the conceptualisation and implementation of design solutions to meet creative briefs for both internal and external projects.
- Work closely with the Creative Directors to ensure all design output aligns with ETTG’s high standards and Fan Intelligence proposition.
- Attend cross-departmental creative meetings providing design insight and inspiration for creative projects.
- Understand and provide the agency with knowledge on print processes and methodologies.
- Proactively research and pursue ideas for professional development.
- Conduct searches for photography/illustration resources.
- Learn art direction of photography and illustration.
- Learn processes for translating information architecture into design.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent level education in Graphic Design
- Work Experience working on live briefs
- A good understanding and ability to efficiently use Adobe Creative Cloud Packages including: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Developed knowledge of the language / lexicon of the design industry
- Demonstrable experience of competent execution of effective communications and interface design across platforms
- Proficiency in up-to-date design programs
- Strong relationship building ability, and strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and experience of print processes and materials
- Keen interest in following industry trends in design
- Inspirational knowledge of art / culture / design / photography / art direction
- A keen interest in sports and / or music
