Senior User Experience Designer - Bangalore

As a Senior Product Designer at SolarWinds, you'll shape the user experience for the SolarWinds Observability Platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and cohesive designs.

Responsibilities

• Design with purpose: Translate product strategy into simple, powerful, and human-centered experiences
• Collaborate deeply: Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and Engineers to define problems, validate solutions, and deliver high-quality designs
• Shape the platform: Partner with fellow designers to create a unified, cross-product experience across the Observability Platform
• Think end-to-end: Drive the design process from early discovery and research through to production-ready deliverables
• Advocate for users: Apply insights from research and data to inform decisions and improve usability
• Ensure quality: Partner with engineering to guide implementation and maintain design integrity through launch
• Contribute to the system: Help evolve our design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and accessibility
• Mentor and elevate: Share best practices, provide constructive feedback, and help others grow

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing enterprise SaaS products or complex B2B applications
• Strong portfolio showcasing intuitive, data-rich, workflow-driven product experiences
• Proficiency in Figma (or similar tools like Sketch, Zeplin)
• Experience in systems thinking and component-based design
• Excellent communication skills—able to explain design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfort working in Agile environments, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
• A passion for solving complex problems and delivering real value to users
