The Product Designer will craft digital experiences using a user-centered design approach, managing each stage of digital product design. Responsibilities include collaborating with teams, conducting UX research, creating user experiences, and proposing improvements based on insights.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers in developing new features
- Conduct UX Research and translate it into user insights
- Gather insights about the users
- Create an elegant User Experience through well-defined Personas, User Stories, Flow Diagrams, Sitemaps, and Wireframes
- Design with component-based approach and pixel-perfect User Interfaces
- Prototype new features, test, and optimize
- Propose improvements for current features based on insights
- Plan and estimate both simple and complex projects
- Contribute to and evangelize the OP Design System
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience with end-to-end product design, preferably with experience designing solutions for SaaS applications
- Experience in creating lo-fi and hi-fi prototypes in Figma or Sketch
- Have cross-platform design experiences (Web, Android, and iOS)
- Understanding the business context and user needs is at the top of your list - before getting into prototyping
- Good knowledge of usability testing - from preparing the prototypes, creating test plans, crafting on-point questions, defining KPIs, recruiting the participants, conducting testing, analyzing, and identifying problems to solve
- Good understanding of modern front-end technologies
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, and can-do attitude
- An excellent eye for design and attention to detail
- A natural self-starter and problem solver
