Senior Product Designer, Containers

You will work with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to understand customer needs and design innovative solutions. Your role involves turning insights from user research into ideas, sketching and prototyping, and shipping products that enhance Datadog's offerings.

Responsibilities

• Work with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to understand how our customers use Datadog and what they need to succeed
• See your design work through from start to finish
• Become an expert in your product area
• Communicate both your design work and the support for your design decisions across the company
• Work closely with engineering teams to understand how your designs will be built

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in digital product design
• Portfolio includes a proven track record of shipping visual and interaction design work in web applications
• Excellent visual and written communicator
• Experience with advanced prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Protopie, Principle, Framer, Sketch)
• Understanding of systems thinking and component-based design patterns
• Give and receive feedback well
• Advocate for design
