Product Designer, Digital Advertising / Marketing - Global Ad Technology Supervisory Department(GATD)

The Product Designer will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from planning to release and improvement, focusing on user-centered design. They will identify user issues through research and create wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs while collaborating with product managers and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and solving user issues through user research (interviews, surveys, data analysis, etc.)
- Designing user scenarios, user flows, and information architecture, defining the product's framework
- Creating wireframes and prototypes to validate and improve the user experience
- Devising user-friendly and appealing UI designs and translating them into concrete screen designs
- Building and operating design guidelines and design systems to pursue a consistent product experience
- Working closely with product managers, engineers, and business-side members to derive optimal solutions while balancing business goals, technical constraints, and user needs
- Validating the effectiveness of designs based on data (usage, performance measurement, etc.) and driving a continuous improvement cycle
- Participating in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in digital advertising and advertising platforms, and applying them to the product
Requirements
- Professional experience in online advertising and marketing
- 3+ years of UX/UI design experience for services and applications
- 3+ years of professional, production experience using Figma, prototyping tools, and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience in product brand development
- Ability to understand requirements, translate them into design, and clearly articulate the design rationale
- Direction skills that consider business, engineering, and creative perspectives
- Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Fluent Japanese speaker or have N2 Level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, or have equivalent qualifications or business level skills
- Fluent English speaker or TOEIC score of 800 or higher, or equivalent skills or qualifications
