Senior Product Designer

Drive end-to-end discovery and design efforts across Kolmeo's service and product offerings. Facilitate continuous discovery with product managers to identify user needs and opportunities for the business.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating continuous discovery with your Senior Product Manager counterpart to identify needs of users and opportunities for the business.
• Ownership, advocacy and maintenance of personas, user journey maps and service blueprints related to key property management journeys and jobs to be done.
• Closely collaborating and negotiating with Senior Product Managers, Solution Architects and subject matter sponsors to assess and nominate opportunity areas to add value.
• Co-facilitating discovery workshops with internal teams to define opportunity scope, objectives, for a prioritised initiative.
• Creating deliverables that support in enabling the team’s understanding of opportunities identified during discovery, which may include: Conceptual mockups/value prop designs, Site maps, Interaction flows, Storyboards, User story maps, Wire-frames, Content inventories, Journey maps.
• Working closely with Business Analysts in definition/design phase to translate detailed experiences and interaction scenarios into high-fidelity designs, prototypes, or service playbooks/SOPs.
• Seeing your experiences through to GTM - facilitating QA/PVT testing in development and supporting any feature or experience rollout.

Requirements

• Around 8 years product design or UX design experience (not UI design or graphic design), with minimum 3 years Senior, specifically working with cross-functional digital squads in Agile to collaborate on digital product solutions.
• Strong demonstrated knowledge of user-centred design and design thinking methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring designers and other non-design stakeholders around the design process.
• Demonstrated knowledge of design delivery in agile practices.
• Demonstrated strong prototyping and design documentation using Figma.
• Demonstrated solid understanding of different user research methods and able to advocate the right method for use.
• Experience putting your UCD into practical use by being an engaging facilitator of design thinking and discovery workshops.
• A natural curiosity and comfort in working in ambiguity.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills.
• Strong demonstration of cross-department stakeholder management experience, including negotiation skills and an ability to constructively challenge ideas with various stakeholders through the design process while having an open mind to other perspectives.
