You will develop and execute a UX strategy and design vision to solve complex educational problems. Additionally, you will oversee all aspects of design and nurture a team of designers and researchers.
Responsibilities
- Develop the Vision: Create and execute a UX strategy and design vision aimed at solving complex educational problems in new and insightful ways.
- Create Business Impact: Directly influence key business metrics (e.g., engagement, retention, conversion) through design.
- Foster a Culture of Learning: Build and maintain a culture of rapid prototyping and iteration, enabling the team to quickly test hypotheses and learn together.
- Guide and Build Hands-On: Oversee all aspects of design, from research and UX architecture to the final UI and design system.
- Nurture the Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop a world-class team of designers and researchers as we scale.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior design role within a digital product-driven company.
- Strong, diverse portfolio showcasing work across B2C and B2B, on both Web and Mobile platforms.
- Thinks in metrics and speaks the language of business, with a track record of tying design decisions to business growth.
- Is a "player-coach" at heart — equally comfortable setting high-level strategy and rolling up your sleeves to craft pixels in Figma.
- Hands-on experience or a deep appreciation for Design Engineering, valuing technical feasibility and fostering a strong, collaborative partnership with developers.
- Must have C1 or C2 spoken and written English fluency.
