"Design is where science and art break even."
β Robin Mathew

The Product Designer is responsible for enhancing the end-to-end experience across D2C channels to improve conversion and reduce friction. This includes conducting funnel diagnostics, designing solutions, and ensuring quality and accessibility standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Funnel Diagnostics & Prioritization β Own insights on the D2C checkout experience; maintain a live opportunity map, define hypotheses and prioritize high-leverage fixes to lift conversion and reduce friction.
- Solution Design & Specification β Translate insights into shippable solutions with navigable prototypes and complete specs (states, edge cases, copy, error/recovery paths, responsiveness) ready for Engineering.
- Post-Launch Learning Loop β Collaborate to define the experience tracking pre-release with PM/Data; Run reviews with PM and stakeholders, documenting results and feeding learnings back into the roadmap.
- Scalable Patterns & Localization β Co-create localized, reusable patterns with Engineering (and Content/Legal) for checkout components and flows. Seed a Design System by documenting guidelines, patterns and tokens.
- Quality & Accessibility β Safeguard UX quality via design QA and ensure accessibility standards (e.g, WCAG). Run a baseline-then-improve approach to usability, defining guardrails with PMs, measure top-task performance, and prevent experience regressions.
- Triad & Stakeholder Alignment β Drive tight cadences (weekly triad, design crits, reviews), surface risks/decisions early, and keep a transparent changelog and improvements backlog.
