Amazon is seeking a Senior UX Designer to expand Alexa's presence in enterprise environments, focusing on intuitive visual and voice interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Leading the entire design lifecycle for new and existing Alexa features tailored for enterprise environments
- Developing early-stage concepts to help stakeholders understand the customer experience
- Working closely with engineers during implementation to ensure design fidelity
- Contributing to and extending existing design systems by developing new patterns, documenting best practices, and sharing insights within the team
- Incorporating insights from user research, conducting hallway testing, and running user studies using tools like Dscout
- Partnering with various teams to keep the customer at the core of all decisions
- Supporting the development of prototypes, participating in user testing, and helping refine product offerings to meet customer needs and business objectives
- Staying abreast of industry trends, advocating for user-centered design principles, and mentoring junior designers
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of professional design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise
- Proven experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute strategic programs
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Experience defining and maintaining design systems and UX standards
- Experience conducting user research and creating personas and journey maps
- Familiarity with agile development environments
- Collaborative and innovative mindset
