Senior Product Designer (H/F)

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be central to the design of both tangible and digital solutions, collaborating closely with Product and Tech teams. You will also define design methodologies and processes to establish a strong foundation for the design function at Tessan.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Design: Actively contribute to the product vision by transforming user needs and business objectives into concrete and innovative concepts for hardware and software solutions.
• User Research: Conduct in-depth research (interviews, surveys, user tests) to understand user behaviors, needs, and frustrations.
• UX/UI Design: Design intuitive user journeys and aesthetically pleasing interfaces for platforms and devices, including wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed specifications for development teams.
• Process Structuring: Define and implement work methodologies, tools, and design standards for the team to create solid foundations for future design at Tessan.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, medical experts, and Customer Support to ensure faithful design implementation and optimal user experience.
• AI Integration: Explore and propose AI integrations to optimize design processes, enhance user experience, and innovate in solutions.
• Mentorship: Share expertise and best practices with the team to contribute to collective skill development and Tessan's design culture.

Requirements

• Significant experience (minimum 5 years) as a Product Designer with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design for complex products, ideally combining hardware and software.
• Successful experience in an agile startup environment, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.
• Ability to establish and evolve a design function in a growing company.
• Experience with AI integration in work processes or product solutions.
• Mastery of Figma, design tools (Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.), and prototyping tools.
• Experience in creating and implementing a design system in collaboration with development teams.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to argue design choices, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• User-centric approach and data-driven decision-making.
• Knowledge of the healthcare sector or medical devices is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English.
