Product Designer

Conceptualise, design, and prototype new products while managing product-related project tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise, design, and prototype new products using 2D and 3D tools.
• Develop technical drawings, renderings, and illustrations using software like Rhino3D, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate.
• Create physical prototypes through sculpting and 3D printing.
• Maintain and update existing products, coordinating with suppliers for samples, quality checks, and production.
• Manage product-related project tasks, including packaging, labeling, specifications, shipment inspections, and costings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and high-quality output.
• Support bespoke projects, creating presentations, supplier quotes, and cost analysis.
• Archive and organise samples and project materials for efficient workflow management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing 3D prototyping and design skills.
• Ability to conceptualise in 3D with strong attention to form, detail, and customer appeal.
• Experience designing 3D objects with a flair for homeware products is highly advantageous.

Key Skills

• Proficient in 2D technical drawings, 3D modeling (Rhino3D, SolidWorks), Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate.
• Strong project management and prototyping skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
