The Senior Graphics Designer creates broadcast motion design work and in-game graphics while updating existing elements. You will collaborate with a team of sports design creatives under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Create graphic and animated elements including transitions, interstitials, show packages, opens, and titles
- Design in-game insert graphic systems and layouts with comprehensive knowledge and expertise
- Effectively communicate concepts and ideas to the Art Director and design team
- Work on multiple packages and projects at the same time, while maintaining consistency with the overall graphic package
- Collaborate with multiple producers and departments under tight deadlines, and short timelines
- Understand the implementation of design elements in network television studio and live sports environments
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience working at a Network or broadcast design agency
- College graduate with degree in graphic design or fine arts
- Strong design and typography skills
- Strong at concept & storyboard
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Must be flexible, detail-oriented, deadline driven and a good collaborator
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Expert knowledge of Maxon Cinema 4D
- Passion for current trends in graphic design (desired)
- Understand the value of good motion theory (desired)
- Extensive knowledge of Maxon Cinema 4D, including modeling, texturing, lighting, animating, use of dynamics, MoGraph, render optimization, Red Shift, etc. (desired)
- Love of sports is a plus (desired)
- Passion for smart, functional design, and an understanding of the balance between information and entertainment (desired)
- Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT (Hybrid)
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years or older
