Lead end-to-end design for Marketplace initiatives, ensuring world-class design from strategy to execution. Mentor designers across the team and evolve design systems across Marketplace and its touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design for Marketplace initiatives: from strategy and discovery to detailed execution, ensuring world-class design from framing the problem to delivery
- Frame and simplify complex problems, balancing customer, partner, and business needs
- Mentor designers across the team, providing coaching, critique, and guidance
- Evolve and scale design systems across Marketplace and its touchpoints
- Partner across Atlassian, aligning Marketplace with broader ecosystem, platform, and growth priorities
- Advocate for customers and partners, leveraging data, research, and experimentation
Requirements
- 8+ years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio of shipped work
- Proven ability to lead design for complex, multi-surface products
- Experience in ecosystem, marketplace, or platform products is highly valued
- Strong collaboration and influence skills, with experience driving outcomes across teams and levels
- Mastery of interaction, visual, and systems design, and comfort working within and evolving design systems
- A mentorship mindset, with a track record of helping other designers grow
