The Lead Product Designer will drive the future of the Platform and Data Engineering tools, leading a team to deliver innovative solutions for over 1500 engineers. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure user-centered design is at the heart of product decisions.
Responsibilities
- Vision & strategy: Create tangible vision and strategy with the right mix of being business-led, inspiring, and challenging the status quo
- Driving change & impact: Ensure users are at the heart of roadmaps and product decisions to achieve the design strategy and leading conversations to ensure UX is part of every step of the process
- People & culture: Be a manager who puts their people first, and prioritises their growth as much as your own, driving ways to improve the wider team's culture
Requirements
- Exceptional levels of UX craft - unpacking user problems, identifying opportunities and then delivering delightful solutions
- Ideally, experience in designing for complex, data heavy, tooling with either internal users, or in a B2B environment
- Strong influencing and relationship building skills to impact roadmaps, and help evolve ways of working
- An understanding of research practices, to understand user needs beyond the obvious
- The ability to push creative excellence in solutions while balancing business needs
- Strong prioritisation skills, with a calm and adept outlook to navigating change
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguous and complex problems
