As a Junior Product Designer, you will learn and contribute to the design team by familiarizing yourself with the product and design system, collaborating on design projects, and taking ownership of design tasks. You will also conduct user research and usability testing, present your work for feedback, and iterate on designs.
Responsibilities
- By Day 30: Get to know our product, customers, and design system. Familiarize yourself with the product design process and ongoing projects. Contribute design ideas and assist with designing assets in Figma.
- By Day 60: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to support new and existing design projects. Conduct user research and usability testing with guidance and help synthesize insights. Begin implementing design system elements, ensuring consistency and scalability across our product, contribute towards the product design style guide. Present your work for feedback and learn how to iterate.
- By Day 90: Take ownership of certain design tasks and features, from exploration to delivery. Participate in design reviews and contribute to team discussions. Build confidence in turning feedback into actionable design improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction / Psychology / Computer Science / Information Science or 1–3 years of experience in product/UX/UI design (internships, projects, or first job count).
- Good knowledge of Figma, familiarity with UI design, UX principles and methodologies, user research and usability testing.
- Have a technical mindset, feel at ease working alongside engineers, and think about how things work under the hood.
- Be naturally quick at learning complex products, ready to dive into challenging problems and figure them out.
- Enjoy iterating on ideas, testing different directions, and improving designs fast in an agile team setting.
- Be curious about AI and new technologies, and how they can transform the way people interact with products.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
