The Product Designer will work with a cross-functional team to build a global travel platform, focusing on creating memorable user experiences. They will advocate for user experience and conduct usability tests to improve product interactions.
Responsibilities
- Work with a cross-functional team to build a global travel platform.
- Gather requirements around functionality and translate them into elegant solutions.
- Work closely with other junior product designers, Lead UX designers, product managers, developers, and engineers from ideation to implementation on new and existing projects across the platform.
- Know user journeys intimately. Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Advocate for user experience. Conduct usability tests on all your modules and advocate for bettering the user experience. Take into account the user feedback but also learn from their behaviors to improve our product experience.
- Embody design excellence and consistency. Work with, and contribute to design systems in your day-to-days. Document it well for the entire team.
Requirements
- You have at least 1 year of experience designing digital products (for Mobile and Web) in cross-functional product teams.
- You are able to work with a team. You gather requirements around functionality and translate them into elegant solutions.
- You work closely with other junior product designers, Lead UX designers, product managers, developers, and engineers from ideation to implementation on new and existing projects across the platform.
- You know user journeys intimately. Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- You advocate for user experience. You conduct usability tests on all your modules and advocate for bettering the user experience. You take into account the user feedback but also learn from their behaviors to improve our product experience.
- You embody design excellence and consistency. You are no stranger to working with, and contributing to design systems in your day-to-days. This means documenting it well for the entire team.
Key Skills
- Experience working in a start-up or B2C organization.
- Some history of working on side/hobby/indie projects.
- Experience working on Framer/Webflow or know to build seamless prototypes.
