Lead the end-to-end design process for new product features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure executional excellence. Champion user-centric design decisions and mentor other designers to elevate design thinking throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for new product features: from research and ideation through prototyping, user testing, and final delivery
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements, set design direction, and ensure executional excellence
- Develop and maintain a cohesive visual language and design system across the platform
- Champion user-centric and data-informed design decisions that align with business goals
- Conduct user research and translate insights into actionable solutions
- Experiment with emerging design tools and AI-powered workflows to drive innovation and efficiency
- Mentor and inspire other designers (and non-designers) to elevate design thinking throughout AirOps
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing digital products in high-growth, fast-paced environments
- Enjoy building solutions tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Figma Make (or similar)
- Proven track record of leading zero-to-one product initiatives and scaling design systems
- Passion for using technology and design to solve challenging problems
