The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating original visual designs for various media that align with brand standards. This role involves collaboration with multiple departments to develop materials that support business goals.
Responsibilities
- Create original visual designs for web, print, and digital media that align with brand standards
- Translate written or spoken concepts into visual materials such as flyers, brochures, signage, social media content, internal presentations, and advertisements
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget constraints
- Maintain and implement brand standards across nearly 20 brands within the organization’s portfolio
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop materials for B2B/B2C marketing, events, and internal communications
- Maintain internal asset databases for design files, photography, and multimedia content
- Use design trend intelligence to enhance creativity and project outcomes
- Support CMS-based projects and assist with uploading and maintaining web content
Requirements
- Exceptional creativity and innovation in design
- Strong knowledge of typography, layout, color theory, and branding principles
- Excellent verbal and visual communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and WordPress is preferred
- Experience with PowerPoint or similar presentation platforms
- Photography and photo-editing experience preferred
- Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development
- Frequent use of computer and design software
- Extended periods of sitting
- Occasional lifting of materials up to 20 lbs
- Standard office setting with minimal exposure to hazards
- May involve collaboration in person or virtually across departments and facilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, or related discipline required
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a creative or marketing agency setting
- Five (5) years of combined academic and professional experience using design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.
Key Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and WordPress
- Experience with PowerPoint or similar presentation platforms
