The Digital Experience Designer is responsible for leading the strategy, design, and delivery of seamless digital experiences across enterprise platforms. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Create solutions for several product design challenges, including mobile, desktop, hardware interfaces, physical environments, and person-to-person interactions
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy digital solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency
- Plan and define strategy for directing future iterations
- Quickly iterates on multiple interactive design solutions and work through details
- Advocates for design solutions, highlighting inputs that influenced the decisions including business and user goals, demographic and usage data, and research findings
- Develops high-level, detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units to translate requirements into actionable solutions
- Works alongside engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the production cycle
- Assesses and optimizes the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in user research and assessing performance metrics
- Presents design work to multiple teams and senior leadership for review and feedback
- Contributes to the group's shared knowledge of user-centered design and research methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in design or human computer interaction (HCI)
- 3+ years of experience as a UX designer, Interaction Designer, Information Architect, or similar role
- A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions
- Experience designing products/capabilities for mobile and desktop
- Experience with a variety of design and prototyping tools such as Illustrator, Sketch, Hype, Axure, and Keynote
- Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design
- Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Well-developed skills in communicating, presenting and storytelling
- Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
- Experience in a highly Agile/scrum environment
- Understand business requirements and translate into digital experiences
