Qualitative UX Researcher

The Planet Group is looking for a Qualitative UX Researcher to join a well-known lifestyle brand technology client on a 12-month contract, working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Tackle high priority projects across teams working on search journeys
• Conduct qualitative research that varies in approach, scale, scope, timeframe, and methodologies
• Scope and define research studies with guidance from other researchers and in alignment with cross-functional partners (product management, design, engineering, and data science)
• Execute research projects from beginning to end (construct a research plan, recruit, gather data, synthesize learnings, and socialize insights)
• Proactively share your research findings and recommendations with product teams and other audiences, in compelling, actionable, and engaging ways

Requirements

• 3+ years experience designing and conducting end-to-end product research at a consumer-facing tech company
• Experience with conducting evaluative and tactical research
• Comfortable running research sessions with design prototypes (e.g., via Figma)
• Strong ability to tie research insights to actionable and specific product implications
• Excellent communication, storytelling/narrative building, and presentation skills
• Collaborative approach to research and ability to bring stakeholders along for the process
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment and ramp up to new product areas
