Underdog.io is hiring a Sr Product Designer to shape transformative learning experiences for vocational students and educators at a mission-driven startup.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Experience Design: Architect intuitive interfaces across web/mobile platforms serving: Learners, Educators, Partners
- System & Process Leadership: Establish/maintain design ops including: Component libraries, User research cadence, Cross-functional handoff protocols with engineering
- Data-Informed Creation: Validate solutions through: Mixed-method research, A/B testing, Behavioral analytics
- Collaboration Model: Partner with PMs on quarterly roadmap planning, Co-create engineering specs for complex interactions, Present design rationale to C-suite
Requirements
- 5+ years shipping consumer-facing products (EdTech/healthtech bonus)
- Portfolio demonstrating: Systems thinking across iOS/web ecosystems
- Portfolio demonstrating: Research-driven iteration (include case studies)
- Portfolio demonstrating: Technical collaboration (Figma/Storybook workflow examples)
- Startup DNA – thrives in 0→1 environments requiring rapid context-switching
