The Senior Product Designer will shape the design strategy for Jira Service Management data experiences. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product experiences and ensure competitive positioning.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers from across the business to create user-centric designs that align with Atlassian’s strategic goals.
- Bring to life new ideas and experiences to influence what should be, and help shape our future roadmaps.
- Lead design projects from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality and cohesive user experiences.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform design decisions and iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing.
- Develop and maintain prototypes and patterns that enhance the scalability and consistency of experiences.
- Engage with enterprise customers and sales teams to gather insights and feedback to inform design improvements.
Requirements
- Several (5+yrs) years of professional product design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design
- Proficiency in Figma including working with tokens, variables, prototypes and animation
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design concepts and decisions
- Ability to design, conduct and apply user research and testing to inform design decisions
- Proficiency with AI tooling and prototyping (e.g. v0, Loveable, Bolt, Cursor)
