Google's Interaction Designer role involves crafting intuitive user experiences for Google's products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading design projects.
Responsibilities
- Influence stakeholders across organizations to gain support for design strategies
- Lead the development of design solutions to user, product, and business problems
- Own a holistic design process, design system, or design language across teams or products
- Lead design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends that further business outcomes
- Guide and provide direction to UX designers in creating design concepts for user research/testing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience in product design or UX
- Portfolio, website, or relevant link to work included in resume
- Preferred: Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field
- Preferred: 15 years of experience in product design or UX
- Preferred: 7 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization
- Preferred: 6 years of experience leading design projects
- Preferred: 5 years of experience working with executive leaders
