Product Designer, Senior Associate

Capital One is seeking a Product Designer to join their Experience Design team, creating memorable, meaningful product experiences that build the Capital One brand and drive business advantage.

Responsibilities

• Combine craft expertise with an understanding of customers and the business to co-create innovative solutions to complex problems
• Leverage strong understanding of product design and skills across interaction, visual and service design to elevate the quality and maturity of the design practice at Capital One
• Use appropriate tools, platforms, frameworks and design systems and work with teams to create artifacts that may include journey maps, blueprints, high-fidelity designs and prototypes
• Use data, research insights and creative problem-solving to support customer-centered design decisions across projects
• Understand your product, processes and partner goals to recognize and bridge gaps between customer-centered solutions and business needs
• Work with your team and partners to gather feedback, understand the tech and data capabilities and emerging technologies in order to inform your work and navigate technical limitations
• Build relationships with cross-functional partners and continuously identify opportunities to collaborate, incorporating diverse perspectives to elevate project work and build trust
• Present work to diverse audiences using a human-centered approach, incorporating meaningful evidence and effectively articulating decisions

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a Product Design role
• At least 2 years of experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma
