Senior Product Designer, Servicing

Valon seeks a Senior Product Designer to lead end-to-end design for a key area within their mortgage servicing platform, focusing on user-centered experiences for homeowners and mortgage servicing professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for a core mortgage servicing product area, from early discovery through launch and iteration
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to deliver user-centered solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Simplify complex workflows and translate regulatory and operational requirements into intuitive, elegant experiences for homeowners and servicing professionals
• Contribute to product strategy by bringing a deep understanding of user needs, informed by both qualitative and quantitative research
• Provide feedback to other designers and cross-functional partners, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuously raising the bar for product quality and craft

Requirements

• 3+ years of product design experience, preferably in consumer design and operational environments
• A portfolio showcasing strong design fundamentals, systems thinking, and a user-centered approach to solving complex problems
• Track record of shipping and iterating on end-to-end product experiences, from concept to launch and beyond
• Ability to navigate ambiguity with confidence, bringing clarity and structure to evolving product spaces
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative mindset and attention to detail
