Senior User Experience Designer

A Principal UX Designer position in Jersey City, New Jersey, requiring 8+ years of UX experience, with a focus on creating UIs and flows for web and mobile products in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Translating complex user feedback into comprehensive visions and developing an informed, long-term view of our client's needs
• Generating high level, conceptual designs
• Bringing business ideas to life, through sketching, wireframing, prototyping, testing, writing, and coding
• Validating design visions with our users

Requirements

• 8+ years of UX or related experience
• Degree in a related field such as interactive design, architecture, industrial design, graphic design, or human factors preferred
• Experience with Figma preferred
• Experience working on agile teams delivering value in digital products preferred
• An undergraduate or graduate degree is preferred, but a certificate in user experience design is also considered
• Demonstrable experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams and managing stakeholders
• Comprehensive design skillset: experience at both ends of the design spectrum – high-level strategy to crafting visual design details
• A demonstrated ability to design and build digital experiences
• A digital portfolio we can review online is required
• Experience in financial services is preferred but not required
• Fluency in UX and other design software: Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc
• Familiarity with design systems and how to use them
