Contract Lead
UX Design lead with 5+ years of experience in product development, focusing on medical devices. Leads UX design processes and collaborates with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Supporting design and development of user interfaces
- Communicating design intent to engineering, software, requirements, and product management functions
- Creating proof of concept models
- Guiding the product labeling in creation of images and technical documentation
- Effectively visually communicate and present design vision, research needs, concepts, detailed designs both verbally and visually
- Develop collaborative working relationships with a range of functions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in UX Design
- 2 years’ experience in medical device or related industry preferred
- 2 years demonstrated experience as a User Experience lead for new product development
- Experience in all phases of product development
- Experience in managing projects and switching between big picture thinking and product-level details
- Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows
- Experience in agile teams or scrum development process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Technical judgement, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Experience using design tools such as Figma, Principal, and Miro
- Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (a plus)
- Familiarity with relevant quality regulations, human factors/usability engineering standards, and risk management (a bonus)
