Staff Product Designer, Investing

The Staff Product Designer will work on the Brokerage product, collaborating with engineering and product teams to enhance the investing experience for clients. This role involves understanding customer needs, creating design solutions, and mentoring other designers.
Responsibilities
- Understand the investing needs of customers and deliver informed decision-making tools.
- Partner closely with engineering, data science, and product management to solve design challenges.
- Create multiple concepts and prototypes, balancing detail and simplicity.
- Listen to users to develop the right product strategy and solutions.
- Leverage data to inform design solutions.
- Align UX efforts with the strategic direction and vision.
- Mentor and develop Designers in the domain.
- Become a subject matter expert in Stock & Option Trading and integrate innovative solutions.
Requirements
- A deep interest or experience with Trading and building simpler, more accessible services for everyone.
- Expert practitioner in product design, capable of delivering thoughtful, polished experiences, including motion and interaction design.
- Demonstrated experience designing and shipping consumer-facing products.
- Strong understanding of how design, product, and engineering can work together to ship high-quality experiences quickly and at scale.
- Effective communication skills to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Experience generating user insight by shaping and leading research studies.
- Ability to work independently and drive projects forward.

- Expertise in product design, including motion and interaction design.
- Experience with consumer-facing products (mobile and web).
