Remote $50,000 - $70,000 Full-time Staff
Own and lead the design of the Crypto product, contributing to the product roadmap and strategy. Partner closely with engineering and product management to deliver high-quality experiences for clients.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead Crypto design, contributing to conversations and direction of the product roadmap and strategy
- Understand the investing needs of customers, empowering both new and sophisticated crypto investors with tools and knowledge
- Partner closely with engineering, data science and product management to find refined but practical solutions to design challenges
- Create multiple concepts and prototypes, recognizing when meticulous attention to detail is needed and when low-fidelity sketches are adequate
- Listen to users to develop the right product strategy and find solutions that delight customers
- Leverage data to inform design solutions
- Understand strategic direction and vision for working areas and ensure all UX efforts are aligned
- Raise the craft quality bar at Wealthsimple through mentoring and development of Designers
- Establish yourself as a subject matter expert in crypto and on-chain technologies
- Stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate innovative solutions
Requirements
- Passion and knowledge of the web3 ecosystem
- Expert practitioner in the craft of product design, capable of delivering thoughtful, polished experiences, including motion and interaction design
- Demonstrated experience designing and shipping consumer-facing products
- Strong understanding of how design, product and engineering can work together to ship high-quality experiences quickly and at scale
- Can effectively communicate ideas and project direction to internal teams and stakeholders
- Experience generating user insight by shaping and leading research studies
- Ability to work independently, biasing towards action to drive projects forward
Key Skills
