Senior/Staff Product Designer, Item Navigation - (Quick Commerce)

As a Staff Product Designer, you will lead design efforts within the Item Navigation domain, focusing on enhancing the catalog browsing experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and intuitive customer journey through effective ranking and navigation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Help build technology that scales our non-food offerings, reaching new market segments and driving revenue growth
- Form a powerful triad with your dedicated Senior Product Managers and Engineering Leads for Ranking and Navigation teams
- Work directly within a cross-functional team of data scientists, data engineers, and ML engineers
- Act as a crucial design connector to our global platform teams
- Thrive in our culture of continuous, large-scale experimentation
- Be responsible for the end-to-end item discovery experience
- Create highly persuasive deliverables that align technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams and leadership
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and shipping data-rich products for mobile applications and web
- Proven ability to work in a highly technical environment, collaborating effectively with data science and engineering teams
- A strong grasp of quantitative data and experimentation (A/B testing)
- Ability to lead through influence, build consensus across distributed teams, and drive design practices through narrative and rigor
- A portfolio demonstrating your user-centered design approach, systems thinking, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English
