Own the full design lifecycle from research to final UI delivery, translating user needs into elegant product experiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope and prioritize design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own the full design lifecycle from research, wireframing, prototyping, to final UI delivery
- Translate user needs and business goals into intuitive, elegant product experiences
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and founders to scope and prioritize design solutions
- Create wireframes, flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design decisions
- Maintain and evolve a consistent design system to ensure scalability and cohesion
- Advocate for the user experience while balancing business priorities
- Iterate quickly on designs based on user data, feedback, and product KPIs
- Deliver high-quality visual designs and assets ready for implementation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role at a SaaS, marketplace, or product-led growth company
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work, including both UX and UI
- Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma or similar)
- Strong understanding of usability principles, interaction design, and responsive layouts
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with limited resources
- Self-sufficient and accountable to deadlines
- Proficient in English and located in North or South America
Key Skills
- Previous experience with 2-sided marketplaces (not mandatory, but highly valued)
- Experience designing marketing websites or landing pages (not mandatory, but highly valued)
- Graphic design experience (e.g. marketing assets, social media, or brand visuals) (not mandatory, but highly valued)
- Experience with motion/interaction design or rapid prototyping tools (not mandatory, but highly valued)
- Front-end development knowledge (HTML/CSS/JS) to better communicate with engineers (not mandatory, but highly valued)
