The Senior Product Designer will guide the team's focus on UX craft and lead design alignment across global applications. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance product experiences and ensure design quality.
Responsibilities
- Leverage data, insights, and user feedback to bring human voices into problem statements, product interfaces, and user journeys
- Generate ideas quickly and connect regularly with customers to validate directions
- Participate in design critiques and present work in product leadership feedback meetings
- Own end-to-end design quality, advocating for UX craft and users
- Co-lead the product development process, influencing strategic decisions
- Partner with content designers, visual designers, product managers, user researchers, and engineers to build and ship experiences
- Work across teams to drive consensus and advocate for solutions balancing user needs with business goals
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of Product Design experience
- Experience designing outstanding digital products in an agile development environment
- Portfolio of design work showcasing modern design
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Web Design, or equivalent experience
- Deep understanding of human-centered design principles
- Proficient in dissecting complex problems and tasks
- Skilled in managing multiple dependencies and demonstrating flexibility
- Experience in employing design methodologies and tools
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Experience in user research, user experience, interaction design, and prototyping techniques
- Experience in agile development environment with cross-functional partners
