Product Designer II (Reporting and Analyst AI)

Housecall Pro is hiring a Product Designer II to create compelling, intuitive, and scalable experiences for home service professionals.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for Pros' needs while balancing the goals of the business
• Create solutions for our Reporting and Analytics products through design explorations, documentation, presentations, and collaboration across all of our platforms, including web, iOS, and Android
• Execute competitor analysis, discovery research, and usability testing
• Build event models, user flows, customer journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high fidelity UI designs
• Present and communicate concepts and design rationale to team members and stakeholders
• Follow and enhance established design principles and repeatable patterns for consistency and scale
• Inspire the team and our customers with forward-thinking ideas and define next-generation user experiences
• Provide clear specifications and documentation to guide engineers in building and implementing your designs

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in SaaS products, ideally for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs)
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• Portfolio that highlights design patterns and product architecture you have created or largely contributed to
• Knowledge of technical constraints for web, iOS, and Android
• Understand accessibility guidelines

• Systems-level thinking; able to anticipate how design changes ripple through a product ecosystem
• High attention to detail and craftsmanship in both design execution and implementation
