Lead the design process for the platform from concept to launch, including user research and creating high-fidelity mockups. Collaborate with product managers to translate the product's value proposition into effective user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End User Experience Design: Lead the design process for our platform from concept to launch
- Translate Narrative into Intuitive Design: Collaborate closely with the Senior Product Marketing Manager and Product Managers
- User Research & Journey Mapping: Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research
- Design System Management: Own, maintain, and evolve our design system
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Product Managers, Technical Business Analysts, and Engineers
- Usability Testing & Iteration: Plan and conduct usability tests to validate design concepts
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Designer within the fintech or banking sector
- Strong portfolio of work showcasing experience designing complex financial applications
- Expert-level proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma
- Deep empathy for users and a passion for creating exceptional, accessible, and intuitive digital experiences
- Experience thriving in fast-paced environments, ideally within a startup or scale-up
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate your design decisions and rationale to both design and non-design stakeholders
- Proven experience creating, documenting, and maintaining a design system from scratch
